January 22, 2011 Last night our new two girls arrived to Finland! Chihuahua s/c GB Ch Dachida's Paintbox 'Bindy' and IR JCh&IR Ch Dachida's Angel Dust 'Minnie'. They were both today at Turku Int. Show and now Bindy is also FI Ch. So many thanks to Carol, Bob and Aimee Davies for all these lovely chihuahuas! Girls will have their own pages soon and also some photos coming. December 8, 2010 On Friday we will have a new member to our family! 'Börje' aka Estava Rain Joy Division is son of Draco and Toni (GB&AM Ch Dembe's Last Dragon and Int&N&S&DK&Nord Ch Redwitch Magic And Sparkle). Thank you Friedrich for this lovely boy!
November 23,2010 Akitas Sisu and Noita were both health checked: hips A,A elbows 0,0, eyes clear, patella 0,0 and no spondylosis! Pippuri and Hymy staffords were mated few days ago. Pippuri got semen from England and Hymy was mated with our boy 'Hitti'. Hopefully we will have stafford puppies in January. November 8,2010 Our chihuahua 'Arttu' got this weekend in Herning Int. Show, Denmark, his new title DKV-10! And he was also Best In Group-3! Also both our stafford bitches started their heat... If everything goes well, we will have two staffie-litters at the beginning of the next year. Pippuri will be mated to English male, to be announced soon ;) Hymy will be mated to Owelan Buzz LightYear 'Jedi', handsome young male. October 9, 2010 'Arttu' won EW 2010-title in Slovenia with CC! Thank you Annika for your nice handling with him. Our own breeding akita 'Noita' was junior bitches second, not bad ;) September 5, 2010 Few changes to our breeding plans...'Eila' is not going to be mated, instead of that we are waiting Sisu mating Owelan Artesia 'Ansa' later this year! August 22,2010 Lots of happenings! Staffords Special Show 15.8 our Pippuri's boy Owelan B-Fiftytwo won dogs CC. Not bad at all ;)
Photo Tarja Aaltonen At same day was also Akitas 'Speciality' under Patricia Gilliard, USA. Sisu won his class, junior bitch won Mari and Noita (O. Chattanooga and Chippewa), Peikko was BOS puppy. First Owelan breeding class was also shown here, four quite different akitas...
Photo Mervi Lehto All our akitas in breeding are now DLA-tested, read more about this test HERE. Our new member is 'Turbo' aka Melodor Manpower, akita male born in April 2010. Turbo's mom is Ruthdale's Don't Give Me Evils at Melodor anf father Am Ch Regalia's CR Crossfyre. He will have his own page soon. We have now a full day 'kennel-help'. Emma Juura is working with us, so every dog have lots of activity every day ;) Planning two or three litters this year, waiting seasons for stafford Pippuri, akita Eila and maybe to chihuahua 'Hattivatti'. August 13, 2010 We warmly wellcome our new member to chihuahua gang: tricolour smooth coat girl Dachida's Bright Lass, litter sister to wellknown GB Ch Dachida's Mister Man and Mister Brightside. 'Hattivatti' will be mated to 'Arttu' in future. July 16, 2010 I asked kennel advisor to check our dogs and kennel house. Everything was really ok, BUT some fireregulations have to be checked with an officer of the Fire department to get the exact fire escape plans. So we will do that right away. 28.6.2010 'Mosku' aka Owelan Aikes was BIS-3 in Rovaniemi Int.Show! Well done Mosku! Also 'Sisu' was shown in Sweden and Denmark; two CC from Sweden and junior male 3rd in WW-show. 14.6.2010 'Peikko' flew last week here to Finland! Matti sold his business 'Musti & Mirri', so we are going to concentrate on dogs in future! What could be more interesting? 3.6.2010 Sometimes dreams come true... Yesterday we got a new member to our house: 'Arttu' aka GB Ch Dachidas Master Card, black&tan smoothcoat chihuahua male! His father is well known GB Ch Dachidas Master Angel, I saw him years ago winning BOB at Crufts. Arttu has already few group winnings, BIS at Smoothcoat Club 2009 etc. Now we are going to shown him here in Europe. Thanks to Carol, Bob and Aimee for this great little boy! 'Eila' akita got her hips, elbows and eyes checked, everything ok! Nov 13, 2009 Stafford puppies have their own homes and one akita male and two females are looking for their new homes. Feb. 2, 2009 Kennel Texmex and Owelan has been UNITED! We have plans on mating "Esteri" with Am Ch Sondaisa Quick Draw McGrav. and probably we´ll mate "Ässä" with Scores frozen semen...but lets see what happens. July 5, 2008 "Score" was BOB in the World Circuit 2008 under judge Sampaio Ann Joe from Brasil with a hugh entry of 60! July 2, 2008 "Ässä" gave birth to 4 girls and 2 boys! And at the moment were waiting for Ässä´s puppies to be born at kennel Mask Maker´s. May 31, 2008 "Score" is a new Estonian Ch and EstonianWinner-08! May 28, 2008 Change of plans! Ässäs first litter will be born to kennel Mask Makersiin. Sire: Viki eli Viva Swartz Glowing Kid. Puppies will be born in the turn of June-July at Kaisas home. May 20, 2008 One of Esteri´s girl puppies is in need of a loving home. "Tikkis" (="stitches") had an eyelid operation and in that she will not be used for breeding. She needs a loving and caring home with other doggy-hobbies. "Tikkis" is very active and an outgoing girl and not bad looking either, she will make a teriffic companion to someone. May 9, 2008 Today our new family member arrived from Valglo-kennel, England a young "staff"boy by the nickname of Irwin. Now Pippuri (eng. = pepper) has her own bestfriend to play with! More info to come. Some of Esteri´s puppies have gone to their own homes and the rest this weekend. We´ve started to pack our stuff for the moving to the new house and at the same time we´re planning and constructing the kennel building...how life is so exciting! April 18, 2008 Score is a new Russian Champion! A Speciality show was also held in St. Petersburg where Score was BOB. We had "Ässä" with us in which she placed Best Bitch 4 in the speciality show and in the International Dog show she was Best Bitch 2. Both Score and Ässä received a CC and Cacib. April 18, 2008 Puppies are growing up and looking good! March 23, 2008 Puppies are growing and doing well! Two male puppies still looking for a home of their own and a girl for a co-ownership home. |

Jan. 28, 2008 Ässä has moved to a new home in Helsinki with Kaisa Svartström (kennel Mask Maker´s) and Viki. Esteri and Assä just couldn´t get along with each other and after the third time to the doctors to be stiched we knew that something had to be be done. We made a deal with Kaisa for co-ownership of Ässä and in the Autumn Ässä will be mated with Score under the kennel name of Owelan. In February we´ll take Esteri to the ultrasound to see if she´s pregnant. |

Jan. 5, 2008 Kajaani/Finland Score was BOB receiving the CC and CACIB and he bacame a NEW FIN CH! Jan. 3, 2008 Pippuri´s hip results came as B,B! Her eyes are also good. Dec. 31, 2007 VERY GOOD NEW YEAR!!! "Esteri" will be mated next week with "Score", lets hope that we´ll have the cutest of puppies in March... Dec. 6, 2007 Score arrived in Finland! Nov. 22, 2007 Melodor Cause I´m Worth It aka Ässä´s elbow and eye results came from the Finnish Kennel Club nad they were GOOD! ...with A,A, elbows and 0,0, eyes. Now both of our Akita girls are checked and in every respect HEALTHY. Nastas kitten Big-D is growing and is showing to be quite a rascal!
